Trauma
Trauma is something that impacts everyone; either directly, where something happened to us, or to someone around us, be that a loved one, a colleague, or someone we work with in a professional capacity, such as a service user, student or patient.
I noticed when I worked in the mental health services, the criminal justice system, and throughout my career, that trauma was a common theme, so I started training in trauma and trauma therapy as soon as I qualified. I’ve continued to keep training, and now assist on training courses run by one of the world leaders in working with trauma.
The Trauma Hub pulls together all my knowledge and learning, to give you whatever it is you are looking for.

Trauma Therapy – Everyone has been through something that was hard to cope with or left a lasting impact on you. Whether you would call it trauma, or not, the ways we can work together to help improve the quality of your life are wide and varied. This might be flashbacks, relationship difficulties, grief, nightmares, anger, low self-esteem, worries, and so much more. Check out the trauma therapy page, and then reach out, to get started on your journey.
Psychoeducation – Trauma can be such an isolating experience, and knowing that what you’re feeling is normal, or expected, can be vital when you’re making your way through your journey. Being able to learn about it, is so important and very healing. Sometimes people are happy reading, and sometimes people want to book an session to talk it through with me.
Bespoke Trauma Training – My background is in education, and my professional life has been varied, and all of this pulls together really well to allow me to offer bespoke Trauma Training to meet the needs that you have.
Additionally, I offer consultation sessions for people who have done Babette Rothschild’s Somatic Trauma Training and have questions about using it when working with neurodivergent individuals.
Over the coming years I will continue to train and add to this section, so keep your eyes peeled if what you’re wanting, isn’t yet here. Equally, you’re welcome to reach out, and I can let you know if this is something I plan to offer.
