BWRT EMOTIONAL WORK – General Psychopathology

The emotional aspect of BrainWorking Recursive Therapy® is the very basic level of work and the beauty of it is that it works incredibly effectively and diverse, despite being the most simple way of working.

BWRT emotional work is the kind of work and change that people want to make when they see themselves as inherently ‘ok’ but maybe have something they don’t like, be it a fear, a phobia, a habit, something that happened or something else.  So this kind of BWRT® focuses on specific areas to change and is very focused in the way it works.

How many sessions of BWRT emotional work will I need?

BWRT emotional work is done session by session and the amount of sessions someone needs depends very much on how many specific areas someone wants to or needs to look at and address.  There may be some work to do in between sessions, but normally this involves making a list of the areas you want to work on, although sometimes there are other situations where you might be asked to do something out of sessions.

BWRT emotional work is also often a good way to build a foundation for identity or psychophysiology work.  It’s not uncommon to work on specific emotions and situations first, before then going on to look at the deeper level of identity.  Doing it this way round, if there is a need, clears the way for a better outcome from the identity work.
